Francis O'Neill Irish Arts Week

The Irish Music School of Chicago is hosting its 4th annual Francis O’Neill Irish Arts Week July 21-27 at Chief O’Neill’s,  3471 North Elston Avenue in Chicago. The week features an Irish Culture Kids Day Camp and adult workshops in the evening taught by members of the world renowned Irish band Teada (Taydah) as well as other amazing traditional Irish musicians like Pauline Conneelly of the band Chicago Reel, Rory Makem, son of Tommy Makem, Sean Cleland of the Drovers, Sean Gavin and many more! The Kids Day Camp runs Monday to Friday, July 21st through 25th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and is open to all kids aged 6 to 14, regardless of any previous musical experience! Kids will receive Irish musical instruction as well as have fun with Irish singing, dancing, Irish language, and arts & crafts plus delicious lunch provided by Chief O’Neill’s!
